Tilt and Squint: A Philosophy for Life and Art

Tilt and Squint Studio brings together creativity and connection in a beautiful space in south St. Louis City. More than just an art class, we create a non-judgmental community for young artists and their caregivers. We believe in the power of art to feed the soul and bring people together. Everyone can be an artist. And every artist is welcome.

Our Mission

Fostering the growth of thoughtful artists while supporting the well-being of their caregivers to cultivate community.

Meet The Team

The creatives behind Tilt and Squint Studio are Amanda and Mea.

Amanda

Amanda  is a “keep it simple Art Maker”.  She is a mother of two, nutrition advocate and an outdoor seeker. She will happily have sensory overload in nature or a pile of art supplies – sights, sounds, smells, textures, colors, shapes – Joy.

Mea

Mea is your friendly neighborhood psychologist and well-being coach. Apart from being a vocal supporter of questioning norms and looking for the “why” behind every human behavior, Mea is a daughter, a wife, and a mom. A friend. A godmother. A sister from another mister. A belly laugher. An overthinker. A day dreamer. A night owl. An artist at heart.
